Maybe it's time for a malware/adware scan on your machine, Matt. They can sneak in and make a mess. Was helping a friend's mother with her laptop the other day. She apparently was trying to download a PDF reader (not sure why Acrobat Reader wasn't the natural choice) and she ended up installing a bunch of adware. What a mess!

Looks like you're an expired member, Gene. Says Guest.

I'm a fancy Gold Member so I don't see any ads.
Not really, Patty...see this thread. They refunded my double payment, but reverted me back to Guest, even though the first Gold Member payment was made. I have e-mailed them again.
That's nuts.

Matt, you're not supposed to ever click yes when you go to those sites ....

I like the popups. They make me feel like someone out there wants to help me.

This evening I have found that the new pop up ads are not only annoying but they block content that I am trying to read or post. The Progressive ads even take me to a new page that I have to close to continue to read what I was reading.

Perhaps it is an effort to chase guest away from this site? Do you members also have to dodge and weave around these intrusive ads?

At any rate, you may be seeing less of me (please stop the applauding) as a result of these annoying pop-ups.
Matt, I see no ads since I am a member and also have the AdBlock App running on Chrome.

I'm a fancy Gold Member so I don't see any ads.
