Least anyone think cars are an investment this car "stickered" for about $33K in 2002 so it's appreciated about 20%. The Dow by contrast was in the $8K range in 2002 and is above $22K at present or an increase of 260%. Needs to go back in the barn for another 20 years and even then probably won't be an "investment."

As dlq/Dave says, cars are made to be driven!

Wonder who will dish out that kind of money for this vehicle.

If anyone is looking for a used S that has not been beat upon, I heard George (White Lightening) from Upstate NY is selling his 2005 GPW. 34K miles on it. Asking 20K which, I believe is reasonable. We might have gone that route vs the P car had a known vehicle with low mileage such as this one been available. The few Rick found were crazy money.

Odd that the tow hook isn't in the tool well where it belongs.

If this was an '00 it might fetch their asking price.
