^ Great right now. I haven't gone yet. Stuff happened the past two days. I'm headed out in about 30 min. Will give a report.

Ahhh...I see...yes, we will all be anxious for your report, especially in a day or so.

(Your report won't change my opinion about whether or not I should get the shot, though, since I have already had both doses of Shingrix.)

OK...the deed is done. Will wait to see any reaction, which the pharmacist says could be redness and soreness. This vaccine is administered differently. It is in the muscle of the upper arm. The previous one was in the skin of the arm farther down. So that may account for different reactions.

You probably will not feel soreness until tomorrow, and then it is not very bad. Mine was gone after a couple of days.

^ No, actually I feel it now. Maybe I'm getting a head start. Not bad, though.

Yes. when the new vaccine first came out they were having problems with medical staff using the method of administering the old vaccine. I read that this mix-up actually caused worse side effects.

Is that a requirement for the thread? I checked and it looks just like it did before. If there is a change, I will document it.

But if you don't post a picture, I'll think you don't want to show me how bad it looks.
