Wet, heavy snow today has played havoc with our cherry tree. It just bloomed a couple days ago. Top branch is snapped. At least we haven't lost power.

The neighbors didn't fare so well, either. Large limbs snapped and are lying on the ground.

That's lousy on the tree Gene. I'm sure that's the end of the blooms.

We have pretty much nothing so far. We may get some accumulation overnight, but this storm isn't anywhere near the issue the other three were. Maybe we still have a chance at some spring weather.

Not only the blooms, Lainey, but the tree as well. The cherry tree has completely snapped all of its higher limbs and will not survive. I just took a walk outside with Nessa for her nightly "business," and it sounded like a war zone with all the limbs cracking and falling from the trees behind our house and our neighbors. The wet snow has turned to freezing rain. Not going to sleep well tonight, since there are several limbs from a mature oak tree overhanging (drooping over) our house.

Gene, I certainly hope you don't get awakened in the night!
Bill, hope all goes as planned and smoothly at the hospital.

Hope you fared well during the night, Gene. Sorry about the tree. I missed the part of your post with the pic mentioning the snapped branch.

Good luck to Barbara today, Bill.

The storm was a bust for us. Not complaining!
