The real question is, How did you remove the trash cans without leaving any tracks in the snow?

I am trying to get back to my ElliptiGO riding ability after quiting for 2-1/2 months due to breaking my foot. I got in two 18 mile rides on Friday and Saturday. Today, Sunday, I am hurting. The three bones that I broke in my foot are not the problem. My tender heel has been one of the problems since day one. I guess I damaged my achilles tendon. Damn it!

Sorry about your foot. Have you tried Achilles stretching exercise before bike riding? Or the tennis ball rolling exercise under the foot? It seems you may have overdone it a bit with two rides in two days. Stretching is really important for the feet/calves.

I think Deb has a good point. You might have to ease back into the exercise. You may have messed up some tendon/ligaments those take some time to heal. Hang in there. PS I love this photo too!

Nice photos! I guess the cans left before the snow came?

I'm icing my heel. I guess I'll back off on riding day after day. Tommorow is predicted to be in the low 60s followed by a chance of snow on Wednesday night. I want to ride tomorrow! I'll look at the link, Deb. Thank you. If I was in California I'd finally get a referral to get a soft tissue scan of some sort. That heel has been a pain since the first moment I broke my foot but every time I brought it up the doctors said to wait until the bones healed. Kaiser in Colorado won't allow me to see specialists.
