Kaiser Permanente is medical insurance. They are big in California and I'm very happy with them, in my area there. I got a temporary ID number as a Colorado Visitor to visit a primary doctor, but not specialists. I don't want to change over to a health plan here, yet. I'm going to be going back to Cali probably every other month so I can keep my doctors there. I have a dermatologist and rheumatologist that I want to stay with.

Love this photo, too. Take care of yourself and don't push the healing process.

I just want to know what is damaged and what its healing process entails. I know I broke three bones and they were healed enough after 6 weeks for me to be told to carry on. At every appointment I complained about my heel pain and I never got an answer as to its cause or treatment. Enough. I obviously made it worse after my two rides. It's time to learn what the problem is. I have another doctor's appointment tomorrow in Loveland. If he can't make an informed diagnosis I'll either fly back to California or pay out of pocket, here. I expected to be better, not worse, at this point.

Hope you get some answers....keep in mind, strains, sprains, ligaments, tendons can take longer to heal than broken bones. I get why you want to know what the actual issue is. Good luck!

Thank you, Lainey. I'll need it!

Just to make sure we have photos in this photo thread...

^Leo is a big help by staying out of the way.

^Finally putting together this console table.

^I made Leo a Colorado cat by growing him his very own grass. It took him a while but he finally partook.

Headed out today, hoping to find bald eagles or some interesting wild life, but no bald eagles, no hawks. I looked near the river, and a cemetery near the river where the eagles are rumored to hang out. Nope. I headed to a small land preserve where there are swans, the occasional heron, river otters (have yet to see them) but nope, nothing of interest. Not even a gold finch.

So I had to settle for a cute squirrel. Not a big deal, any time out with the camera is soothing to my soul. Oh, but I did curse when I left the land preserve headed to a spot when I sometimes see the herons, and one flew above my car. I'd bet he/she was headed to the spot I just left.

Nice squirrel shot!

Some photos from last week's trip to Sierras. Edit: One thing I noticed. Sometimes, if you PREVIEW a post --- you can't summit it later. Crazy!

Sherwin Lake.

Feeding dogs.

Exercising ibid.

Mammoth Mtn (left) and village (center) from trail.
