Taking a left turn in trivia land, Vermont is the only state with a McDonalds-free state capital.

When they built the village in the resort where I live there was talk of a McDonald’s going in there but certain homeowners in the area were horrified at the thought so it never went in. It’s a good place to go though if you want a 25.00 bowl of soup.

In general, few video games interest me.
I did like space pinball on windows.
There was also another game on early PowerPC Mac laptops called Spin Doctor later called clockwerks.

The town of Asheville did NOT want a McDonald's so they compromised and it is perhaps the world's fanciest McDonalds with chandeliers, a fire place and at dinner time they even have a piano player playing the

We had a relatively warm day. Still need a heavier jacket and the top is still up on the Honda, but most enjoyable. Took a ride to Cape Cod, stopped at a lighthouse for a couple photos ops and poked out heads into a couple of the beaches. Some of you may recognize this lighthouse from your trip to Cape Cod with Legal Bill during the Nor'Easter meet. 2006 I believe it was.

Small beach across from the lighthouse. The water looked pretty today.

Beach in Mashpee. Looks like they made pyramids in the sand to protect from erosion?

A beauty of a day here in MA. Still not warm enough to drop the top, but we went east until we could go no more. Provincetown, MA was the destination. As we drove, we stopped at a few places along the way. A couple of beaches and lighthouses. Here's a beach in Orleans, MA. Low tide makes for some pretty colors in the water and sand. We like to give the painter space to work, so off we go.

Lainey, the Nor'easter ^ was in 2008, I think.
I seem to have taken a similar picture of the lighthouse!

Couple more…sadly, tomorrow will be rainy and Sat quite cold, so today may have been the best one. Kite festival is Sat for those who can brave the chill.
