^3-29-2026. Two male elks in the Buckhorn Creek about a mile from home. I was just starting out on a 20 mile ElliptiGO ride.

^3-29-2026. You can clearly see the pedicles on this bull elk. He had green tags in both ears.
Nice, Patricia. Not much blooming here. Crocus are up, daffodils will follow, but everything else is bleak.
It's cold and windy and next up warmer but rain, days of showers and/or day. I may go see if I can shoot some ospreys with my camera. We stopped at one of their favorite places the other day but only two ospreys were hanging around and it was an obstructed view.

Azaleas are done here but now the dogwoods are in full bloom. Leaves are out on both our elms.
Unfortunaterly pine pollen is covering everything. You don't need pines on your property. If they are anywhere up wind, the pollen will find you.

^3-29-2026. My daughter and me in Boulder, standing next to our completed melt glass projects.
^3-29-2026. My melt glass project. After the class was over I went to my son's house to hang out with them the rest of the day.
^3-29-2026. I didn't tell them I was bringing my ElliptiGO. My son teases me all the time that I'm an Ellipti-NERD. My son and 4 year-old grandson rode to the close by Fritz Family Brewery and I went after them on my bike. I had hoped to sneak in behind them after they left the house but I didn't time it right as it took me too long to coat up with sunscreen and change clothes. Kyle and Julian rode there but put their bikes in the Rivian that Jen drove there, to get a ride home since it was all uphill back to the house, 1.5 miles with 186 feet of gain. Later I rode in the driveway and street with my grandson. I enjoyed finally finding something to do with him that helped us connect. We would stop at the "snack shack" and then go some more.
^3-29-2026. My two-year old grandson hasn't graduated to pedals yet but he did try later in the afternoon.
