One of our friends who recently retired visited with a coordinated at the Council on Aging to get info on the various Part D prescription plans for Medicare. One of the most inexpensive is a Wal Mart Humana plan at around $19.00/ month. I looked at it for Rick,it covered his meds with inexpensive co-pays and a $400.00 deductible if he was prescribed something out of the lower tier. The truth is, I don't want anything to do with Wal Mart/Humana for this type of thing. I found a Blue Cross plan for about $40.00/month, his co-pays even for generic are less, there is a $200.00 deductible for the out of lower tier meds and I feel better dealing with Blue Cross. I think Dean would approve.

Perfect.
We have two grocery stores within reasonable driving distance (< 15 min.), Winn Dixie and Walmart.
We have two Medicare Advantage options in Harrison County, Mississippi. Cigna and Humana...so Walmart soon, maybe.
