We don't have one at home. However, back in 2002 on one of our trips to Maui Barbara (AKA Plant Pixie) found a B&B on the north shore of Maui (at about the 7 Mile Marker on the Road to Hana) that had one. If we had a view like this at home, We would definitely have one.

We have an outside shower. It's modeled after one we sawin Jamaica. It's surrounded by a huge sea grape and a lot of orchids. The bottom is part of my deck that goes around my koi pond. It's a cool water shower. Tap water here isn't cold and I laid the water line under a tanning slab that sits in the sun all day. It has an adjustable shower head on a hose so you can wash your feet too. Great when you come in salty from the beach

My outdoor shower is a garden hose hooked to the hot and cold outside water lines. Bathing suits are optional.

They are quite popular at the beach/shore, but not so much here. We have a bath in the basement just steps from the pool. It's like an outdoor shower....in doors.

That sounds nice.

S2K Ray, you have the frugal option.

We use it for washing sand off legs and feet after going to the beach then we shower inside. My wife hates sand in the house.

Well it would only be usable part of the year here in MN :P And then you would have to fight the mosquitoes for it!

Seriously though, I like the idea of them. If living somewhere where they are of more use some day, I may consider it.

Now, if I am found naked in the back yard under a garden hose singing to myself ... that does not count , right? In that case, just hand me another drink or more of whatever I just took and leave me be.
