Paul Allen succumbd to Non Hodgkins lymphoma
You can have all of the money in the world but when your time comes, that's it.
Sadly Paul Allen passed away today. He had fought cancer for ten years.

I guess it is all relative. I have had the fortune of traveling around the world and I can tell you the vast majority of people (non European countries) see me (us) living an unimaginable life of freedom and riches. I take care not to boast or even show pictures of anything other than my family. You may not think twice about your “typical” home with a garage for your cars but that very thing is over the top for so many.
Go back in time even one hundred years; what we enjoy today could not be imagined from fellow Americans of yesteryear. Ancient mariners would stroke out at the speed and capability of the ships of the air I pilot.

Cosmo, your post makes me think of the story of showing Grapes of wrath
The Grapes of Wrath was reportedly banned in the Soviet Union by Joseph Stalin because it showed that even the most destitute Americans could afford a car.
but that great big yacht isn't doing him any good right now unless they plan to spread his ashes with it.
He and Bill certainly helped the Seattle area.

I hope he thoroughly enjoyed it while he was alive.
