Photo Albums Unlocked?

Photo Albums Unlocked?
A new "photo" button appears above our posts. I clicked on mine and Rob's and it seems like all albums are now available for public viewing. Did something change? I thought some were restricted?

You are correct. I was just able to view yours. I'm going to post a question in the site forum.

I went in and edited mine. There is a button that you have to uncheck called "Visible to Everyone". Must have been another site snafu from the recent upgrades.

I just checked mine using the new button and the ones I "unchecked" are still visible. Rob, can you go in mine and see if a folder called 2003 CR-V is visible to you?

I just received a reply from Krazik. According to him all of the photos are visible unless you uncheck the box "visible to everyone" in that particular subfolder. There is no check box in the root folder and therefore he advises putting all photos in subfolders.
Even if a subfolder is hidden, a photo in it can be shown in a posting.

The check box is not new. It's always been there. The photo button is new tho. C3 and I thought people would appreciate it.
You;ve always been able to go to https://www.s2ki.com/imagecatalog/user/username/ to see a user's gallery. It just wasn't ever very well documented.
