Here are a few...I'll add some more when I get back the other roll of film. Most of them are self-explanatory. The Pere Lachaise Cemetery is where many famous people are buried, such as Chopin, Edith Piaf, Maria Callas, Yves Montand and Simone Signoret, Rossini, Isadora Duncan, Sarah Bernhardt and Oscar Wilde. But the most famous grave of all is that of Jim Morrison, lead singer of the Doors. The gravesite has been a mecca for all sorts of people since his death in 1971. And subject to lots of looting. There used to be a bust of his head there but someone took it.

I try to avoid having my pic taken. They generally don't turn out well.

Deb, I like the pics. Can't wait to see the other roll.

I've heard a lot about the Pere Lachaise Cemetery. I understand that people make trips to it just to see Jim Morrisons grave.

I like your Eiffel Tower shot.

Deb,

Great pictures of Paris! We'll be going back in April for our 5th visit. I got tickets for $211 ea. round trip (from Philly) on Air France, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity! We plan to spend about 3 days in Paris, then travel to Provence, and maybe parts of Italy (never been to Italy) We'll be gone for 12 days total, so should have plenty of time to explore.

Seeing those pictures makes me even more impatient to go! (I'm now trying to figure out how to pay for the land portion of the trip!)

Just wish I could take the S2K with us. Renting a Renault is not quite the same!

I think Gene is subliminally attracted by this pic, which (of course) resemble a very large Juke n Box

Not to worry, there will soon be plenty of pics from Fall Colors.

Sounds (and looks) like a terrific trip. We missed you, though, on the Vintage forum. I'm sure Ralper is happy to have you back -- he's had to do all the "moderating" by himself.
