So Dave, it sounds like you had something other than the typical plantars surgery. Am I reading your posts correctly? Mine got much worse over the past three weeks and I am now using a lacrosse ball to try and stretch out the plantars and massage the pained area.

Actually my surgery was tarsal tunnel (much like carpel tunnel only on the foot). The recovery was much, much slower than I expected. With the surgery being in the middle of December I was still using my cane occasionally as late as last month. Each day is a little better but every once in a while it reminds me of what I had done.

I was worried that it was Plantar Fasciitis so I have worked out my calf muscle. I still stretch them every other day.

My wife had it and it is completely gone now. I bought her some fairly pricey tennis shoes called Kurus. They have a variety depending on what your daily routine is. She is in retail on her feet all day. Here is the link. Cured it in less than 3 months and hasn't come back after not wearing them anymore.

Kurus. . . never head of them; thanks for the lead.
