I have a Escort 9500ci in the S and a 9500ix that I use between the other two cars. I can't count the times that the 9500ci has saved my butt when being shot by laser by troopers. The 9500ix has saved me from the locals who stick with K & Ka radar.

I'm a believer!

I totally agree with his advise, that's how I drive without a radar detector on.

Just like Scoots, I have a Escort 9500ci in the S and a 9500ix to move around in the other cars. I consistently drive between 9 and 12 mph over with no problem. The easiest way to avoid getting a ticket is to not be the fastest car in the left lane.

A person just can't be too careful, you know (but I'll bet there are a few people here who would disagree with you )

I never go faster than the person that is leading our group.

My experience: With the Valentine V1 - no tickets.
When I forgot to move it to the NSX - 69 in a 40, reduced to 45. (Guess he liked the car!)
Lesson learned.

Something about immutable laws of physics. I tend to do the same (unless I happen to be leading )
