This past week I lost a good friend and partner of 10 years. Det/Sgt Joe and I went to Bomb School together in 1985 and then worked as the only two bomb tech's in our town for 10 years. We relied on each other to stay alive during the situations that we delt with in that time period. He was the Commander of both the Bomb Squad & Crime Lab for Y.P.D.
It was apparent how well he was liked and respected by the large turnout for his services on Tuesday!

Detective Joe's passing on to the other side must be leaving a huge hole in many lives. I'm glad you had him in your life, Sam. You have my sympathy on missing him.
