I'm still hoping to take the summer off this year.

We have 4 sons. "They" have produced 5 grandsons. All live within 1 hour of us. And we will be keeping a place here as well. The Zacksmom is totally "bonkers" over these 5 grandkids, all under the age of 5, so no way will I ever be able to cut the cord completely.

Now, here was the fun news from this past weekend:

1). #1 son and his wife, have decided not to have children (married 15 years). So instead, they rescue and foster cats. Bradenton area. He called us Sat Night to tell us about our new "Grand-Kitten".
2). #3 son calls us Sunday night and says he wants to just "drop" over and say hi. They surprise us with news about expecting their third child.
3). #4 son nows calls me and says he is on his way over as they are doing some shopping (Monday Night). We are chatting about basically nothing and then we inform him that his brother is now expecting their third child. ..... And that's when he tells us that this was the "real" reason that they wanted to come over, to tell us that they are now expecting their second child.

Hence, while the Mountains may be a calling; the flatlands of Florida have me held hostage. And who knows, we may actually get a "girl" out these next two critters. I won't know what to do with them, but it will be fun nonetheless.

LOL, I get being bonkers over the grandkids. Mine are pretty much grown up, but I'm still available at the drop of a hat when needed. I totally get why you can't cut the cord. Trust me you'd miss out on way too much if you did.

BTW, if you get a girl out of the next two "critters" you are probably "toast."

A little early celebration of my retirement. Mimosas on me at our Saturday AM ladies of the Y breakfast.

^^^^ You look WAY too happy in that pic. A How-Many-Mimosas breakfast was that?

I bought the pitcher. It was cheaper than buying four drinks. I'm almost on a fixed income. Have to economize. It might have been a little watered down as they had ice in it. So I had a couple.
