I loved watching "The Monkees"! I was around 10 when the show was on.

Mickey Dolenz (the drummer) used to go to the Samoa House, a restaurant my family went out to once in a great while. He would get drunk and swear. I told him :sssh: once. I just looked him up on Wikipedia and found out we graduated from the same high school, although he was out 13 years before me.

O dear. There'll be no cheering up sleepy Jean. Seems like he lived well right up to the end.

I love that line, and most of the other lines from their songs. Good, fun music.

Davy Jones, rest in peace.
