I grew up watching the Rockford Files and still do on Sunday nights. He reportedly broke every bone in his body throughout the shooting of the Rockford Files and I'm pretty sure he invented the J turn. There are many tales from back in the day of James Garner and Steve McQueen and others racing around on Muholland Drive those were the days. R.I.P.
