Here in the First State, we pay a "documentation fee" of 4.25% of the sales price (for new cars) or NADA trade-in value (for used cars) when the car is first registered. After that, $40 per year is the annual registration cost. Also, we have no sales tax.
Thank you, Fortune 500 Companies, plus many others, for incorporating in Delaware and keeping our taxes low!

When I was looking for a Sportscar back in late 2002 I spent a few hours with a Porsche salesman looking at the Boxster and even he admitted the S2000 was a better car (2002-2003 versions) The only thing he could come up with was that it had two trunks vs the S2000 one At the time I was on a 911 and 356 crew in Vintage racing and was advised to either go for a 911 or the S2000 but warned about the "upkeep" of the Fancy VW

Lainey, you mentioned satellite radio. Have you downloaded the iHeart radio app on your iPhone? It's free for the basic service, but you can upgrade to a couple different levels if you want.

I probably downloaded the app some time ago, but rarely use it on the phone, but if I'm alone in the office, I do stream music through iHeart. I have satellite radio in my Jeep and am VERY happy with it. I could look into adding it in the P car on a seasonal basis, but I think between the radio and music on the USB we'll have enough choices. I don't have unlimited data on my cell phone so streaming music on a long trip could eat up data pretty quickly, I believe?
