I'm shocked the S2000 sounds better, the Boxster must not have the sport exhaust. The sport exhaust on the 911 and/or Boxster S is one of the best sounds in the industry.

Just be aware that certain years had a serious main bearing issue. If not corrected it can fail and the engine would have to be replaced. I think it was early 2000 models up until 08 or 09.

No, they tax you based on KBB/NADA value, it doesn't matter what the actual selling price was. I sold a car to friend a couple months back and they used KBB/NADA to value it and ignored what was written on the bill of sale.

I've been paying $152 per year on the S2000 since 2005 for the plate renewal. I'd be somewhat okay paying the money if the roads were kept up, but as I'm sure Dave will attest, the roads in Jackson (and most of MI) are utter crap right now and have been for a couple years.
