I just took a few, mostly at Chocolate World and on the trolley tour. The +1 may have more on his phone. There are lots of interesting facts about Hershey and the making of the chocolate. Among them - they make 60 million kisses a *day*, and it takes the milk output of 50,000 cows a *day* to produce the milk chocolate. Locating in central PA was intentional to have access to all the cows on dairy farms there. Hershey went bankrupt twice and made his first money in caramels, not chocolate. The trolley tour (one hour) is definitely worth it if you have a chance to get back there. The original plant (where the stacks are), as of a year or so ago, no longer is used for any part of the chocolate manufacture. There is a new plant on the other side of town. The Milton Hershey School (for disadvantaged children) is completely free - the education, housing, medical care, etc. The Trust funds the entire cost and the school does not require any government/public funding. There are 1900+ students. The school was started when the Hersheys were unable to have children.

Yes, these pics are from our annual Spring Fling gathering. We had about 40 cars, 60 people or so attend, and most of the attendees are 40 + years young. We know how to have fun........still.
