Shootin' the Breeze - 2010-2011 Version
Here we go! Happy New Year!
The +1's son's chemistry saga continues. He turned in some homework, which he did well on. However, he didn't do well on a test yesterday. He told the teacher he didn't understand it, but over the holidays he did seem to understand quite a bit.

Off today. Yet another list of things to do. I need to confer with dlq and RC as to how little I should be doing on these days. 
I was supposed to pick up my granddaughter from school and have some "one on one" time with her, but she is not feeling well. She stayed home from school today and the other grandmother is at the house with her, as they (other grandparents) are winding up their visit from Portugal.
Not much excitement here.

I'm also off today. I ordered a new cane this morning for my attendance at "The Phantom of the Opera" in a couple of weeks. Since I'm going to be sitting in the VIP box, I want to look my best. Even though I know this is going s--u--c--k out loud, like someone squeezing a cat's testicles for two and a half hours. The price some us are willing to pay for some female company.

I may be getting dangerously close. I also ordered a rather fancy chronograph watch last night. I've been getting much grief about never wearing a watch.And (I hope you're sitting down) next week I'm going shopping for a suit.
