A big Nissan Pathfinder. He's not a car guy. He wants to drive me to the airport next Tuesday, and I may end up taking him up on it. I already have indoor parking reserved at Fine Airport Parking but if they don't take care of the snow they get I won't be able to park there. I came back to Denver Airport after the "bomb cyclone" over March 13 and 14th, 2019, and discovered that Fine wasn't running shuttles, after I stood outside waiting. I called them and they said I'd have to find a way to get there myself if I wanted to get my car out. I got an Uber to take me there and got home. I don't trust them, now.

Keep in mind we like neighborhood type friendly bars, especially with outdoor seating. At Jerry's you get friendly not fancy. I can think of several that are closer to you - in the Pickney area Zukey's is a great spot on a lake, and down the road in Hamburg is the Hambrug Pub with an outside back deck (not a great view but safer than inside), on Whitmore Lake there's the Whitmore Lake Tavern with a neat deck and view of the lake, etc. We like to link up in our MGs and take day trips . . . really neat bars in Grand Rapids, Ohio on the river. You get the idea . . .

I saw this silly thing at BJ's warehouse club yesterday.
He must have been planning some serious shopping.

notice the size of the driver's seat in the cabin.. The top of my car was about where the silver paint started.

He is trying to sell it. but he's turned down $135K so far.

Unimog's are fairly awesome, but definitely hot a highway vehicle.

I bet if it had an AMG badge you'd be interested

I try to hold that line at a 1/4 million.....
he wants stupid money, even if he moved the decimal point I still couldn't justify it.
two decimal places, so $3690 yep. I'd use it to plow my driveway.
but it would probably cost me that in diesel to get here from his house in Concord which is only 30 miles away.

I bet it gets better mileage than your ML63.

Last one of those I test drove I couldn't manage to get 10mpg.

Bought a Cuisinart toaster thinking it was a decent brand. Worse toaster ever. #7 on the dial and an English muffin is still not toasted. Gave them a call today and they will send a replacement. Hope the replacement works better. When I receive the replacement, the customer service woman said to "unplug the current toaster, safety first." I was getting ready to laugh until she told me to cut the cord, then take a pic of the cord next to the toaster and email it (the pic ) to them. I guess cutting the cord of a plugged in appliance isn't recommended. Good to know.

I think you are right, though he does cook dinner most nights. I have the dreaded colonoscopy coming up soon. I'll let him take me to breakfast that day! We actually aren't big on going out to breakfast.

ML63 = 16 mpg mixed driving.
SL63 = 20 mpg mostly highway but it does have the Renntech tune.
