Thank you, Patty!

I am happy that you seem to be doing so well already that you can wish me a Happy Birthday!

I hope that your recovery goes well and that you will soon be better than new!

We had to stay home waiting a bed delivery, so I wanted to take advantage of the sudden cool weather. I jacked up the Deere to clean the bottom of the deck and change blades. It has been 11 months since I last did it. I was shocked to see the new blades I put on last August were as good as the pair I was going to put on, so I left them on. I just clean the mower good while our new garage door was being installed. So I should be all set for the remainder of the season. The shop told me they use a flat air chisel to clean the deck. I tried that approach but found the round scraper designed specifically for mowers worked better.

I did ask for pain meds about 50 minutes ago. The surgery pain meds have worn off and it's not bad yet but I want to keep it under control.

What was that old phrase," How, high are you?"

Glad to see you smiling.

I didn't feel high at all. I just felt pain free. I had a nice dream while they did the surgery. I was at my place in Kennedy Meadows and there were no mice.

I'm not as smiley now though. I say about a five on a scale of 10 pain scale. I love the way my hair gets greasy just by existing.

I took my first walk. Not too bad.

This place is nice and quiet. I like it. I brought a long charging cord but the wrong plug in for my phone. They don't jive. My phone will probably die tonight which is okay. I don't do TV so I'm just enjoying the peace and quiet in the nice cool room.
