Patty are the brownies themselves from scratch or do you use a mix? Jeez that looks good. I am making brownies for Super Bowl. Sometimes I spread a jar of carmel sauce in the middle.

Dean, I always use the brownie mix from Costco. I used to always add walnuts but this'll be the new concoction.

^7-13-2007. I love the way I looked when I started bringing brownies to S2000 meets, in 2006! This photo was taken at an S2000 Los Feliz meet, in Los Angeles, an hour from my home, on July 13, 2007. My ex moved out of our house (on his own accord) in October 2006 and I was having a blast doing whatever I wanted to do without asking for permission. That's the face of independant freedom, almost ten years ago. No wonder I don't look like that any more.

Okayyyyy...not sure if this is legit, but it's interesting.

"After Leslie Ray Charping died at age 75, his family decided to run a brutally honest obituary eulogizing the “evil” late relative.

The family wrote that Charping “leaves behind two relieved children,” in addition to “countless other victims including an ex wife, relatives, friends, neighbors, doctors, nurses and random strangers.”

His death came at an age that was “29 years longer than expected and much longer than he deserved,” according to the Carnes Funeral Home obituary.

“At a young age, Leslie quickly became a model example of bad parenting combined with mental illness and a complete commitment to drinking, drugs, womanizing and being generally offensive,” the obituary read. The obituary goes on to list his hobbies which included abusing his family and expediting trips to heaven for his pets. He was also interested in fishing, which “he was less skilled with than the previously mentioned.”

“Leslie’s life served no other obvious purpose, he did not contribute to society or serve his community and he possessed no redeeming qualities besides quick [witted] sarcasm, which was amusing during his sober days,” the obituary read.

No services will be held for him.

“Leslie’s passing proves that evil does in fact die and hopefully marks a time of healing and safety for all,” the obituary concluded."

Guess he wasn't liked very much but he did manage to pass on his meanness.

What are you insinuating, Dave? Do you think it was mean of the relatives to tell the truth? Have you never know anyone mean and nasty like that?

In my opinion, nasty people do serve a purpose in others' lives. They are someone to learn from on how not to be. People who dislike the mean person may come together to support each other. The toxic person can be here to help others learn how to deal with them or how get rid of them in their own lives. My belief is that we are here to learn and a nasty person can be part of our lessons even though we can't stand the person.

Just a little tongue in cheek statement. Sorry if I struck a nerve.
