Since she was little.

Just back from the awards ceremony. No scholarship money at this event for her, but she did get the "Outstanding Student Award" in her area of study, and also had perfect attendance this year. She has received one notice of a scholarship being granted, waiting to hear on others.

Correction to an earlier post, there are just under 480-490 students in the class. Still not bad being in the top twenty!

The regional vocational school is a good one. They have many areas of study available to the students, and a high percentage of them go on to college. They have over 1200 applicants for next year's freshman class and 500 openings.

Will have to go some to beat my record, something like bottom 40 out of 140. I was focused on other things in high school.

Our daughter Stephanie and hubby Jeffrey came down from Dallas for a weekend visit. We did a family dinner and then they shared some great news with us.
