Jim, I hope this cures your pain and has you back doing pushups soon! I've been putting off shoulder surgery for years; in fact, as early as today I told the wife I don't know how much longer I can put it off. I'm told both are worn out but at least I can still sleep on my left. Since I don't have a stationary bike, a backyard spa, nor a desire to be bionic, I'm going to put it off as long as possible. Hope all heals quickly and you are pain free. I really hate knowing anything medical (personal thing) but how did they align that lower part so well within the bone. Drill first, pound second?

Wow Jim. That's a lot of screws. I count five. I hope you heal well.

I'd like to be able to help you but the best that I can do is give you the good wishes that this carries with it to you.

Somewhat recovery related, went with a friend to a fave German kafe called Leopold's in Georgetown yesterday. Had the schnitzel with potato salad. It was delish!! Do you have anyplace in Houston that is good for German comfort food?

Jim, first I learned of this.Glad the surgery is behind you and sounds like better days ahead. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery to a point where the shoulder is better than new.

Hope your recovery is as smooth as my recent hip replacement recovery has been. It has been 6 weeks for me. I'm walking without a limp, driving, and returning to work tomorrow.

Good luck, Jim. I hope that your shoulder recovery goes as well for you as both of my hip replacements.
