Thanks for the good wishes, everybody! There are good days and bad days. Today is a bad day. But improvement is real and steady.

Yeah, many of us here have trouble getting through the TSA to get on airplanes. My own body has screws and instrumentation in my spine, my eye socket and face, my right leg has bookoo straps and metal parts inside, my right shoulder has an implant, left knee is metal; and I'm not sure that's all of the Edelstahl and screws. The stuff works pretty well, though.

I have a titanium hip. Never been stopped by TSA. Good luck on your recovery, Jim

I have a removable 50 mm cobalt-chrome ball and a titanium stem. It always sets off the TSA alarms.
