It was on the cool side last night so it wasn't all that bad, but yeah she definitely felt warming.
The cats are finally after a year getting used to Chance, or should I say he's finally not chasing them down.
But it's millimeter by millimeter progress.
So scenes like this are becoming more common.

I was talking about you today, Jerry. My next-door neighbor, Stacy, with the two Spanish Mastiffs gave me a ride to pick up my S2000 and she was telling me about a 4 year-old Spanish Mastiff up for adoption in Texas. She mentioned it to her hubby and he said no. I gather the problem is the dog keeps escaping. She said they need to do something as the breed is for protecting livestock and need a large yard.
I have regrets about adopting Chance.
He's a Pin In The Ass. PITA.
Whining is his primary form of communication followed with barking being a close second. ( unusual trait for a mastiff)
In the wee hours this morning ( 3:00 AM) he was very expressive.
At first I thought he had to out. Nope wouldn't leave the bedroom.
We finally figured out he wanted to get on the bed. Nope not happening!!
We have one of Barbara's nicer quilts on our bed.
Furthermore, mastiffs don't share a bed, they establish territories. and you get what's leftover. What you don't fit anymore? Have you thought about sleeping on the floor?
They also kick when they dream, repeatedly.
Gabe used to lie next to Barbara when she went up to bed early, by the time I got their my side was all nice and warm and he'd get off the bed.
So if it's 12 below and the heat is out, they make great bedtime companions.
otherwise, eh no, not so much.
I hear you Jerry. There are times when having pets can be a real PITA. Roxy has taken to barking loud and non-stop when she see something out the windows that disrupts her world. A couple barks is normal . . . but on and on and on.
