It’s that time again. My SiriusXM subscription ends soon so need to call and threaten to cancel to get a decent deal. Currently we are paying about $48 for 6 months on the Select Plan including streaming.

I have heard some people have gotten 12 month deals and will try to get it too.

My better half gets 1 year for $72. When they answer, you can just ask for a retention department person and save a lot of phone time.

What he said as far as retention department. I have a one year subscription, but apparently I'm not as assertive as others. I pay $99.00 year. Streaming on your phone is now included in the plan, and Alexa can also stream Sirius Radio as well.
We get a 6 month subscription for the P car.

They started out wanting 324 for my renewal for a year and after telling them that was way too much they dropped it right away and after more conversation they dropped it again I ended up paying 150.00 for a year. I'll have to try the retention department next time I renew. Compared to cable (thats a whole other thread) I don't mind paying it.

$6/month I'll pay but not their inordinate renewal cost. Glad I changed credit cards late last year or they'd have debited me automatically. Only use it infrequently and only for the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's music.

We are getting it "free," at the moment (new car). So far I haven't found anything I would want to pay for.

What did you get for new wheels?

Just got the 4.99/month (+tax) offer for 12 months, for the P car. Cancel anytime! Signed up for it now, will cancel next November.

A 2020 Subaru Outback, Touring with turbo of course. We are finding it an extremely nice car, very happy with it. I wonder how I will do when I have to get back into the S.
