72 is probably 60 + a $12 royalty fee

Plus tax, title, and dealer fees. (don't they all hide that nonsense? Ever pay "resort fees?" )

You went upscale? You used to have a single at Red Roof Inn.

Well, when Motel 6 says "We will leave the light on for you" the whole purpose is to keep the cockroaches under the bed!

I like Red Roof Inns. Their bed bugs are much more friendly the some motels!

Just got my renewal e-bill from them they want $339.58 for one year It's ridiculous that I have to go through this every year and play the 'dance' with them to get a reasonable price.

Here's my SXM story. Bought my S2000 new in April, 2004. Had the OEM HU and speakers replaced in May, 2004 with an Alpine HU, XM receiver and Alpine speakers. Called XM to activate my receiver and got a very nice rep (all US based at the time). She was pushing 3 and 4 year plans back then, but I wasn't sure, so she offered to activate my receiver and give me a "Free 30-day trial subscription" to experience XM. Well.....they emailed me for a few years to get me to "renew" my subscription, but they never deactivated my receiver!! Apparently, my trial subscription was for life, as I'm at 16+ years now!! Never paid a penny and all the channel/satellite updates over the years have worked just fine. Shhhh.
