S2KI Honda S2000 Forums - Something very special

When I got home from work today and looked through the mail, I noticed a card still unopened. When I opened it and saw who it was from a smile came to my face and a very warm feeling came over me.

The card was a very simple card with a very simple holiday greeting. But penned in by the sender were the words, "Merry Christmas, hope to see you soon". I was very touched by that.

You see the card was from one of our pre-Vints. You all know who he is. He's had a very tough year, and we haven't seen each other for about 2 years, yet with all of that, he took the time and was thoughtful enough to send me holiday greetings.

I guess that's what the holidays, and real friendship is all about. We've hardly spoken in the last 2 years. Nothing more than a few coincidental posts in each other's threads, and still he took the time to wish me a Merry Christmas. Wow.

To my very good friend, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healty New Year. I wish you only the best of everything for this coming year and forever. May every year be better than the one that came before it, and may you have all the happiness you deserve to have.

And to all of my friends here in Vintage a very happy holiday season, and a happy, healthy and prosperus New Year.
