I have tried many ways to mess with spam and robot calls. I used to say County morgue asst coroner speaking. That worked for awhile.

I believe I have found an answer that works. The robocalls just hang up as do the delayed voice calls. The interesting thing is it seems to take you off their call lists.
Try it.
"May I help you? This call is being recorded."
Poof! They disappear.

I've recorded all kinds of crazy answer messages. Like Cuban or CIA shortwave "numbers" stations.

Some still leave messages. They are dogged!

 

All you're doing is acknowledging that your phone number is valid and they can sell your number to someone else. I just ignore and block.. it's a game of whack a mole but unfortunately it is what it is

 

When salespeople used to call a coworker of mine and he answered thinking it was someone else, he would just say "oh you need to talk to Max" and would hand the phone to Max. Max was his 4 year old lol.

 

With Comcast it shows up saying it is a Spam call on my landline. I never answer. One out 20 might try to leave a recorded message. Easy to delete it.

I get frustrated with spam emails that I've blocked that show up again.

 

I'm getting a lot of email spams in Chinese and Arabic. Very odd, since I can read neither language.

 

Check your google search engine. Make sure it's set for English only.

 

I just got a call from someone who sounded on drugs and claimed to be from the Amazon Fraud Department. Caller ID: Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Canada.

 

It is. Crazy, eh?
