Default Spring Fling Location Poll - May 20-22, 2016

New improved, cleans like never before POLL!!

The fine print: there is no guarantee that one (or any) of these locations will be chosen. A lot depends on making sure that the value to dollar ratio is correct. I've done some preliminary work with a couple of these sites and two look promising and one is way out of line. It's getting to be time to hone those negotiation skills.

I remember, when we were considering C-ville back when we ended up at Wintergreen, that it was pretty much impossible to book due to so many things going on at UVA. But you already know that. And I'm guessing it will be more expensive than the other locations. I'm not going to vote because I've been really bad about showing up recently, and I'm going to be out for the next one, also, due to our train trip through the Canadian Rockies in May. I do think Gettysburg has been done (a lot) with other events. Bethany Beach seems to be more centrally located for everyone than Chincoteague. I'm sure it will be fun no matter where you go.

Delaware Beaches are very nice and there are a lot of activities. There are roads to the west, but they are flat.

I'm too lazy to drive far for a w/e.....

Thats why I picked Charlottesville, VA.

Its the closest for us.

Looks like it will be a long drive for some, no matter where it is held.

If it turns out to be Bethany Beach, then this will be payback for the hundreds of miles I have had to drive to get to all the other meets I have attended! (I live about an hour from there, and have been scouting out some interesting activities. More later...)

I only live about 2 hours from Chincoteague, so that would be nice, as well.

I don't know about the areas except that I've been to Gettysburg a couple times already. I'd love to see something new.
