Bill, I don't make videos but I take good notes. I put the steps from the video on paper and thought I would share them.
Touch up paint chips using a Loew-Cornell fine line painting pen
The pen is $15 plus shipping on Amazon
The purpose of the pen is to put only enough paint in the rock chip so it will dry flat and smooth with no additional steps needed
· First clean each chip to be painted with isopropyl alcohol
· If rusty, then first clean the chip with a sandpaper point such as tip on a Dupli-Color touch up kit
· Slowly fill the little pen bucket with matching car paint by adding small drops from a larger touch up paint brush
· When full, do practice taps off the car by tapping the needle on a hard surface until the paint is flowing out nicely
· Fill each chip on the car by tapping only as many times as needed to fill it without creating a bubble
· If doing a lot of chips at once you may need to clean the needle using the kit’s fine pipe cleaner to remove drying paint as it starts to plug the inside of the bucket and needle
· When the chip painting is done fill a cup with isopropyl alcohol and swirl the pen in the container to wash out the pen’s bucket
· Clean the needle at the same time using the fine pipe cleaner, first coming in from the bottom and rolling it in your fingers without bending the fine wire
· Then repeat the process with the pipe cleaner coming in from the top through the bucket; don’t push too hard or you will bend the fine wire
· Compressed air works good too to clean up the needle
· Let the car sit over night, and double check your work the next day
