Those monthly bills.

I'd probably shock your Fidelity adviser. With one or two key strokes I could tell him within a penny or two of how much we need - either by the month or the year.

geez I totally forgot that one.
throw in pet licenses and vet bills.
what I did not include ( but wish I could) are golf country club fees but alas we're not memebers
but in the summer they add up.
In the winter used to be ski lift passes but not so much anymore.
CDubea, that why I don;t plan on retiring, I can't afford the toys I want to get now.
It's not going to get better when I retire.

No, Emil. But our electric bill does get a little steep in the summer, what with the A/C and all. (A/C is short for air conditioning, a system that draws in indoor air through "return vents", chills it, then forces it out through the heating and ventilation system. The chilling is accomplished compressing an refrigerant gas outside the home, then allowing it to expand and cool the air in a heat exchanger located inside the home. These systems are similar to automotive air conditioning systems that you may have seen in some cars in Canada.)
