Tires

Hi, my tires on my garage queen are old and I need to replace them. Was wondering what people are using these days. Now that I am in Delaware I no longer store the car for the winter but will drive it on nice days. I don't consider myself to be an aggressive driver but am not a leaf watcher either.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jim

Conti Extreme Contact sport,or Bridgestone SO4.

Jim, Michelin Pilot Sports are among the best for our car, imo.

Jim, I'd gather up all the recommendations and then go to the Tire Rack site, as Jim has posted above, and do some research. Personally, I'd probably start with the Bridgestone Potenza RE71R and then see if there is something else that sounds better to me when I do my internal analysis of price, performance, comfort and noise.

Thanks, I also wrote to Jim at Tire Rack, he recommended Michelin AS3+ and the Conti DWS06 since both could be driven in cooler temps (I don't put the car down for the winter since I left NY).

Thanks,

Jim

What I have. Really like them. Pretty good on wet surface, too.

Since I, too, live in Delaware and drive year-round, I have the Conti's you mentioned on both my S and my NSX. I am very happy with them!

Thanks Gene, any recommendations for an Installer?

I have used both Tire King and AAA in Dover. I prefer AAA, but they are both Tire Rack recommended installers.
