Tom Brokaw's report on the Baby Boomers
I recorded it on our DVR and just got around to watching it tonight. He had a two hour program about Baby Boomers that I thought was quite interesting.
Unfortunately, it confirmed one of my fears about the economic impact of Baby Boomers retiring and cashing out.
Did anyone else watch it and if so what is your thoughts about the impact that "Baby Boomers" have on both society as a whole (in regards to social change) and the economy in general?

Well, when millions of us retire, we will each reduce demand for investments (stocks, bonds, etc.) as the contributions to 401(k)'s stop and increase supply as we sell investments to fund our lifestyles. What usually happens when demand goes down and supply goes up?
