Thanks to all for a great meet. Thanks to Sam for the drive up Rt 26. We were home much earlier than usual arriving by 4:15. Rain for about 4 mins on the way home - there was a lot of it, on the 80/90 as expected but not in Monroe County MI where we usually meet it. Already looking forward to next year.

Our trip home to Cincy with Denny & Sharon, with Matt tagging along until Chillcothe.......
We made great time after Chillcothe (made really great time until this point) till we see flashing lights ahead and traffic stopped... Turns out that the Fayetteville police have US 50 blocked for a parade or something.... How dare they do that to us!
We sit with the top down in the sun and 90 degree weather for a few minutes, then start to roll forward a little, only to be stopped by a traffic light (3rd car in line). At this point, I am starting to say some bad things about the Fayetteville Police Dept (in my head).
Light changes and we start going and all of a sudden the police officer looks at us and points at me (I'm thinking he heard what I was thinking about the Fayetteville PD).... and all of a sudden he yells out "Mike"..... we recognized Sean right away and waved back and just started laughing at the chance encounter!
Made the trip home a lot better!

Thanks to everyone. Especially Jonas and Sam for putting this together and doing the recon drive, etc. Special thanks to Sam for the lanyard. It is perfect for hanging the FRS radio on.
It was great to see everyone again. Of course, I missed a few people that could not make it this year. Wait till next year.
Thanks to Mike, Kathy, Denny and Sharon for letting me tag along on Sunday. FUN roads along the way. It beat hell out of rest of the drive that I took after lunch on the Interstates.
P.S. Did anyone else have a problem with stalling when coming to a stop after filling up the Exxon station on the Saturday drive? FWIIW: On Sunday with about a quarter of a tank of that fuel left. When I came to a stop about eight times the car would stall. Then start right back up. After stopping to refuel at a Marathon station, and adding some Lucas fuel treatment (which I had with me) the problem went away and as I type this hundreds of miles later, it has not happened again. ?? Any thoughts?

I got back to Myrtle Beach safely about 5pm Sunday. Thanks to Jonas and Sam for all the work you guys put into making this happen. Special thanks to Sam for always leading a "robust" but safe drive. It's always fun being your wing man! I think Bryan is still grinning from driving the RT. 26 segment. He's downloading the GoPro video if anybody wants a copy. I've also got random photos if anyone wants copies of those. PM me your cell number and I'll text what I have.
