That's a pretty low bar, Ray.
I trust the information from History Channel...like I trust anything I hear in an infomercial. Too bad, too. I remember when HC first started. They were much more about hard core history and much less about the sensational, the paranormal, and pseudo-science,

Sorry (but not surprised) to hear that, Gene. Too bad because the story of the Blue Book project is actually pretty interesting. And the conspiracy theories the grew out of the revelation of the project by the Air Force are fascinating.

The show reminds me a bit of the old X-Files, only dramatizations of actual Project Bluebook reports. Back in the day, I was a rabid UFO nerd. the episodes I've seen so far quickly clicked in my memory, but of all the reading I ever did back then I never got the impression Allen Hynek (sp) was anything other than a academic mouthpiece for the Air Force story line on any report. The show clearly takes some dramatic liberties with the actual events.
