ugh 911 service is down.

Our wireless and potentially landline service for 911 emergency is hosed up in Mass although possibly further from us as well.
The impact has been alert services on cell phones all afternoon.
we we're sitting in a restaurant at lunch and it was like a chorus of " BWEEp bweep bweep an alert from the...blah blah blah.."

sigh.
