Loved Scotland! Stirling is the site of the National Wallace Monument. Very interesting place. And lots of beautiful rolling hills with many sheep. Don't forget Loch Lomond! We took a little cruise on the loch. Many castles, etc. Did not see the monster, however.

Here is the thread for that trip...part of MsP's continuing travelogue series. I will post other plans here.

Since it looks like I won't be going to Memphis next weekend, I will have a ticket I have to use before the end of Nov. So gotta figure out a trip somewhere.

My next vacation will be a mid-May five night stay in NYC. The main purpose is a day long guided photo tour throughout Ellis Island’s abandoned hospital and attempting to view my ancestors 1907 immigration acceptance documentation and their signatures. Much of the other time will involve sightseeing, shopping, dining and relaxing. Can’t wait!

^ How did your trip go?

Assuming my sis and her hubby will be home in Melbourne, we will be going there to visit in Oct, and for the +1 to run the Cocoa Beach half marathon. It's an I Dream of Jeannie theme, so peeps will be dressed up as Jeannie and Major Nelson.

My dad is coming up to Vermont for July and August so I'm looking forward to spending time with him and then I'm going to Florida with him in September to help him get settled. Also hoping to head out to Montana at some point my best friend moved out there over 20 years ago and I haven't had a chance to get out there so I'm hoping to make that happen at some point.
