Make it happen, Rob! Life is too unpredictable! Go for it!

Back from our Smoky Mountain trip, safe and sound. It is good to be home. Nothing else on the calendar as of now. I'm tired.

Have tickets for flights to San Diego (2) Ohio for a wedding and, the real vacation, Maui in the fall for two weeks. Two weeks of reading books, sitting on the beach, sailing, having umbrella drinks and not much else.

I know Ft Myers is on the docket for the Holidays, with a day trip to the Keys, but I haven't planned anyting else for the year (really busted the budget last year with the S2KDays trip).

I am looking forward to visiting friends in Germany in September and October, after +1Chris and I are in Italy for 10 days. I will be traveling from Berlin to different countries in Europe, including The Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland. Grandparents on my mother’s

side came from an area in Poland that was in Germany at the time (Ost Preussen). Could be my last European sojourn. Ain’t getting any younger... LOL

We have a driving trip to San Francisco and Boulder coming up in August. After the Dragon and S2KDays we are off to Europe for a 15 day river cruise in October.

So true. Funny, I have days where I think I would like to see more of Europe or even the USA. Then I have days where I think the heck with the hassle of long drives, long flights, etc. I'm happy to sit on the back porch or spend a week up north.

That's a lot of driving! Which vehicle??

After a two day road trip I often think that's as many days as I can handle to get to a destination. Kind of limits us a bit. Can't decide if the P car is more comfortable than the S. It has more room, to be sure, but there is something about the seats in the P car that were not that comfortable by day two. I need the trunk space though..........of course we can always take the Jeep.

You folks here have a lot of traveling going on..............traveling is tiring.

We've decided to take the SUV. It looks like we will be gone about three weeks and Patty is not ready to spend that much time in the S.

So hard to plan a trip. My wife is coming up on 6 months of unemployment, so we're low on cash. She just had an interview for a contract job that has potential, but should she get hired, she won't be able to go anywhere for awhile. Catch 22.
