Vacation Plans - 2026
Nice! I used to work for BMO Harris bank over a decade ago and always wanted to go to corporate to have an excuse to visit Montreal. Will make my way there or to another city someday. That is if I ever have enough extra income to take my family.
Nice!! Our Rocky Mountaineer trip from Calgary to Vancouver was fabulous.
I am working on a trip next year to see nephew and family after they relocate to Germany. Back on Avalon River Cruises after a long break. Spend a few days in Frankfurt with them, then take a train to Basel, Switzerland for an Avalon Rhine River cruise ending in Amsterdam.

Actually the train starts in Banff. We went from Calgary to Banff by bus. Does not add that much to the trip and includes a one-night stay at the Fairmont in Calgary and the glorious Lake Louise Fairmont. Lake Louise is not to be missed!!

Enjoy all those trips while you are still young (under 80) and have the desire. I've seen all the world I am going to see. No desire to travel anywhere beyond MI, OH, IN and only then in the MG. The wife is going to FL in a couple weeks to be with the FL family. I enjoyed the same trip earlier this year ..... but not enough to repeat it. Like I said enjoy it, post pictures and stories, and like the Detroit Red Wings I will be here hoping for some fun in the future.
