Glad we're all getting back on our fun track. Got the old juices flowing though. We've shaken off worse than this. It's just that we come from a time when good manners, civility and respect were the norm and some of us feel it should still be that way, no matter what the issue. Guess it's a new day out there now. Anyway, the horse is dead, no need to beat it anymore. But (one last whack) if being a "club" keeps us from being subjected to what we just went through, then I'm all for it. Life is too short!

Plus, we mid-atlantic folk have three more days of gorgeous top-down weather so we've got some driving to do (even if it is dark when some of us get off work now).

Thanks for the snowtips xviper. We may be joining you in shoveland sooner than we think.

80s here today and I'm very jealous of xviper's snow!

Just found out that vintage is now a club. Missed all the fireworks, but wherever Vintage goes, I'll follow. That's the curse of being a vintage wannabe.

On the bright side, clubs can have clubhouses, have an official song, elect a dictator for life, and keep out slimy non-vintage types. (a la Calvin!)

I think those of us too young for vintage, yet loyal to the forum/club/whatever, need some type of designation. Maybe a "young whippersnappers" badge...or "old fart in training" badge... or a "I vtec for Vintage!" badge.

WANNA TRADE?
I've just gone out and shovelled snow for the 3rd time in the last couple of days. It's starting to not be fun anymore.
On the lighter side though, while out doing the walks, some doe-doe in a pick up truck came within inches of making kissy-face with a telephone pole. The sheepish look on his face was priceless and I'm sure his bench seat needs a good cleaning now.

Would love to trade! I keep swearing that one day I'll move off of the equator and to a place far, far away that has 4 seasons. All we have is hot and muggy and hotter and muggier.

Just went a peeked at what all is listed under the "clubs." They're all regional communities. (yeah, I know. duh! welcome to two days ago, jmc!) Unless a vintage state of mind is a place, I'm not getting the move. Not complaining, but a bit confused...

Oh, well. Vive la vintage!

Hey JC...If you are dying to know what happened you can catch all the action in reruns on the "Vintage Moving to Special Interest" thread.

And I LOVE "VTEC for Vintage"!! We had "Aged to Perfection" as our motto but I kinda think we may need to have two of them. What say you, guys and gals??

Thanks, Deb. Just went and read it!

Sounds like they're re-doing the clubs into some type of organization other than geographical. With that done, then it would seem to me that Vintage could flourish in the Club section.

I know people aren't happy with the move, but I really think that Vintage will be just fine. This is a good group of people and one of the few places that i feel comfortable posting.

In the words of Bob Marley ..."Don't worry about a thing, 'cause every little thing's gonna be alright!"
