We had a light rain/sleet followed by snow - - believe it or not I was blowing leaves as best I could early on. I hate it when all those big oak leaves freeze to the ground.

Got about .5 in of ice overnight before it changed to rain. At lunch, it started to return to freezing rain, before it went to wet snow.

I'm hoping to get the Berlina out next week for a final wash before putting it away for the Winter. Thankfully, a hand car wash is down the street. Those towels that dry the car in one pass amazingly work!

Ugh...had to make a round trip to Canton tonight. Departed after the snow started to fall. It was the worse weather I had driven in in ages. Dark, visibility awful could not see lines on the road, slushy, mushy and slippery.

This should have barely been a two hour adventure instead it turned into a "three hour tour."

Thankful to be home safe and sound.

We might have had about 4" but the rain is washing it away. We got "lucky" in this area as the storm was after commuting time. I unfortunately, had to head out in the middle of the mess, but still count myself fortunate compared to those stuck on bridges, involved in massive car pile ups and in NJ, the students of one school spent the night in school.
