Perhaps an infrequent January rain some in the lower elevations of eastern Colorado. But at the higher elevations of the state (4800 ft and above) it is very rare indeed.

Uhoh...the snow forecasts have gradually been going up for the DC area. Now we are at 5-10". Ugh...

None for us...air pressure cold front, something keeping it to the south. No complaints from me.

Yeah, only going up as far as a bit north of Balmer - 3-7" there.

Possible totals went up to 6-12" by midnight. Big for our area. But tomorrow and Tues will be sunny and above freezing so I expect plenty of it to melt. The roads down below me actually look pretty good. But the +1 did put off his return from NJ to tomorrow. Should be a much easier trip.

Snowing today in the Durango area. My snow plow man just left. That’s the fourth time recently to clear my drive path up to the house. But the Jeep keeps me from being snowed in. Vehicles were strewn along the ditches this morning on the CR to 172. New snow on ice makes it pretty slick out there. It doesn’t get much above 32F, but the sun does slowly melt the snow.

It's sunny and in the 40s in Loveland, CO. It hasn't snowed in weeks. I'm flying to California this coming Wednesday night and then driving to Scottsdale on Friday. The weather should be wet in soCal and sunny and in the 60s in Scottsdale. I hope for more snow after I get back to Colorado on the 24th.

CR is that long gravel road up to your driveway?

Yes, it’s the unpaved County Road up from 172. Our drive then turns off from the CR.

Got about 10" of snow here. Should be a good cleanup day and OK day for the +1 to come home from NJ.
