I'd be careful with freezing water in glass bowls Patty.
Might get a lot more excitement than you bargained for when they split.

Patty, thanks for the pics of the glass balls. Now I have to get the grandkids to give it a try. I wonder what other coloring method could be used so that it doesn't all gather in the middle. Any artists with an answer?

Snow then sleet then rain. This morning I have a lovely combination of snow and slush in the driveway. I'm not sure if I'm up to snow blowing.

I vote either a. let it melt, or b. call someone to take care of the job! Don't do it yourself.

Watercolors in a tube could be used. I've got lots of those in California.

Got about 5-6" more yesterday. I think they say this actually catches us up to average for this time of year seeing as how we have gotten a good 20+ inches since last week. Actually looks like a normal winter again :P

I think I have mold growing in my armpits. It won't stop raining. And snowing in the Sierras. Squaw Valley has had about 30 feet of snow this season and Mammoth 37.8 feet at the summit. And the storm dropping up to 5 inches of rain in the Bay Area right now is headed up there to drop a few more feet of snow. Our summertime drinking water comes from the Sierras, and I predict we will not have any shortages this year!
