Now that you mention it I see snowflake icons on my weather app for Friday and Saturday so I guess we are. Didn’t catch the weather on the news last night so don’t know the details yet.

Well I managed to keep a dry basement after the pouring rain on top of feet of snow ... but did have the front gutter destroyed by ice. It is temporarily screwed back up, but I will be pulling it completely down, replacing the fascia that was damaged and then calling the seamless gutter people to come out and put up a new one Could have been a lot worse though.

After days above zero, lots of rain last week, etc we are down to a foot or so in the yard and bigger piles along the driveway of course. Supposed to hit near 60 this weekend so I suspect we will have bare ground other than the piles, which will hang on for a while. The driveway has been a glacier so hoping that melts away more.

54 here today. Got the car washed...then I saw the report for accumulating snow Saturday.
Don't know why I waste time and money trying to keep the cars clean during the winter. The only way they stay clean for more than 48hrs is if they stay parked in the garage.

The Ship Channel oil fire now extinguished. But air quality in Deer Park, TX is dangerous because of benzine vapors. Locals are advised to shelter in place. Otherwise the weather is beautiful today in the greater Houston area.

People were telling me at lunch today that now we are expecting 10 + inches from this storm. I SWEAR I saw on the news last night that we were getting 2-4. I'll be finding out.
